STEM EDUCATION

I focus on teaching and research endeavors that are fueled by a desire to see an increase in the numbers of minorities and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields. I have over 10 years of experience teaching various college science courses and providing professional development to in-service K-12 STEM teachers. My desire is to do what it takes to expose more minority students as well as those from economically disadvantaged families to have more access to STEM at all entrance points.
